$10 towards $100,000

Last year, Kate Amato Foundation surpassed $1 million in total funding for pediatric cancer research, a milestone made possible by the generosity of our donors and supporters. Through grants awarded to leading research institutions across the country, KAF is helping advance discoveries that lead to safer, more effective treatments for children with cancer.

Today, we're building on that momentum through Funding Finds Cures, our year-end giving campaign with a goal of raising $100,000 by December 31, 2026, to fund two promising pediatric cancer research projects. Every dollar invested in research helps move innovative ideas closer to life-saving breakthroughs.

KAF-funded research has already contributed to meaningful progress, including support for research that led to a safer treatment for Ewing sarcoma and groundbreaking cancer vaccine research at the University of Florida. With your support, we can help fund the next discoveries and bring hope to children and families facing childhood cancer.

Kate Amato Foundation Mission
Kate Amato Foundation is dedicated to finding safer and more effective treatments for children with cancer by funding innovative pediatric cancer research.

Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children. For those who survive, the side effects of treatment can cause severe, long-term health problems including organ damage and secondary cancers. During Kate's illness, we learned how severely underfunded research is for pediatric cancers, resulting in outdated, toxic treatments and low survival rates for children. To honor Kate's life and continue the fight for other children, we are determined to educate, advocate, and fundraise for life-saving research.
